Below is the response that I received from Cinemark's corporate offices...
Good morning Christy,
Thank you for contacting us regarding your concerns of our content programming and specifically that of the film I Am Not Your Negro. In our West Plano theatre we had this particular film on screen for three weeks beginning Friday, February 10th. I pulled a report to check past showtimes and for the majority of its time on screen, I Am Not Your Negro held six showtimes beginning with a matinee at 10:35am and the late show at 10:55pm with multiple times in between. It was not until its last few days on screen (in its 3rd week) did it drop to just the late show due to extremely low attendance. This was an excellent documentary that many people were able to come see and I am sorry that you were given this impression of our theatre.
